GreatBay Aquaculture produces the highest quality cultured marine fin-fish. Our mission is to be a world leader in the production of marine fish through the commercialization of technology and its application to aquaculture.
We maintain multiple stocks of broodfish which provide the hatchery with fertilized eggs year round. The hatchery is under the supervision of a trained staff 24 hours per day in addition to computer controlled monitoring systems.
GreatBay Aquaculture maintains an active research and development program to improve growth rate and resistance to disease. Our hatchery technology is being used to bring high value marine species to commercial production. GBA has incorporated HACCP into its production system and is committed to product safety, quality and environmental stewardship.
